Task: As part of the project implementation, an engineering facility for collision-free migration of large animals over the A1 highway was designed and constructed. The animal crossing was designed as a four-span object of prefabricated arches supported on reinforced concrete walls. At the inlet and outlet of the facility, reinforced concrete retaining walls with siding made of optemBLOK small-sized blocks were designed. The facility was constructed using the so-called “half” technology, due to the need to maintain traffic on the existing road.
