OptemARCH arch precast system

The optemARCH arch precast system is Optem’s flagship product, developed by the bridge design studio. The system consists of reinforced concrete precast elements that are manufactured at our own facilities in accordance with a national certificate of conformity for production control. As a result, optemARCH precast elements meet the standards of architectural concrete applicable to contracts.

The optemARCH system is flexible and enables rapid commissioning of structures such as bridges, overpasses, footbridges and animal crossings.

Advantages of the optemARCH system

The optemARCH product is characterized by exceptional durability and low maintenance costs. We take care of proper insulation and effective drainage of engineering structures, ensuring their reliability for years to come. We offer two options for the implementation of bridges, tailored to specific needs and conditions:

Rapid realization with precast elements (delivery of the bridge in a month)

In case of urgent implementation, it is possible to deliver the bridge within a month, including demolition of the existing structure. Fully precast elements are used, which minimizes monolithic work. Precast supports and arch vaults are installed quickly and efficiently, reducing construction time.
Economical solution with wet poured concrete (when time is not a priority)

When time is not a priority, supports can be made as wet poured elements. Such a system creates a quasi-framed structure with an arched cover, which optimizes material consumption and reduces costs, although it increases construction time.

The system allows for half-assembly, which allows work to be carried out in stages and minimizes disruption during road or rail traffic. The lack of seasonality of installation work is another advantage – installation can be carried out regardless of the season.

OptemARCH also allows the road cross-section to pass through the bridge structure, which increases functionality. Thanks to minimized maintenance work and simplicity of design, the structures are convenient to operate.
