optemPLATE constructions
The optemPLATE system is a system of robust corrugated sheet structures offered by Optem. It is used for the construction of road and railroad bridges, animal crossings, tunnels, pedestrian and bicycle bridges and other engineering structures.
The system consists of hot-dip galvanized corrugated sheets, anchors, bolts and nuts conforming to PN-EN ISO 1461, and mounting channels for open-section structures. Additional components include a face plate for the reinforced concrete rim, an epoxy-polyurethane paint coating and a structural sealing system. All steel components are CE certified in accordance with PN-EN 1090-1.

Advantages of optemPLATE structures
- Bridge structures made of optemPLATE corrugated sheets are characterized by quick turnaround times, allowing the structure to be put into service efficiently. They are also attractively priced, offering a low cost compared to traditional solutions, and installation can be carried out regardless of the season, eliminating the problem of seasonality.
- OptemPLATE, like OptemARCH, allows a road cross-section to pass through a bridge structure, increasing its functionality. The corrugated sheets are available in different corrugations and thicknesses, so the product can be customized.
- OptemPLATE is ideal for relining, which is the insertion of new structures into existing bridges. This method, which is often used in reconstruction projects, allows work to be carried out without shutting down traffic and allows for any cross-sectional shape.
